1. Over millions years, or so that's how long it SEEMS we've been here, there's been a lot of changes surrounding the whole women/man reproductive organ things, some of which include the following. Better health care, cleaner toilets, new medicines and research with said medicines. Some other changes that I assume have also been noticed are STI's.
What I'd like to know is how long they've been prevalent and how they came to be, because they are nasty and dangerous. Luckily the research of medicines have limited the spread and fatality of the infections and diseases. PROPER SAFE SEX, that's a good one. Created after years of people contracting AIDS and other viruses through unprotected sex and needle sharing. blaugh. Condoms is someone's way of saying, us doctors are tired of delivering babies, cut it out. But in the reality condoms are proven to limit STIs and prove effective almost 99% of the time. I believe people are smarter about who they have sex with and are more protective and weary of what may happen. THE END! hold all applause for they scare me.
2.Well :-0 our reproductive system is much like a set of dominoes becuase every domino needs to be working together in order to accomplish the main goal. BABIES. If one domino "part of the reproductive system :-)" is out of synch the whole system can fail. It may go a short distance but if one is gone the rest of the process is flawed and can't continue.

The Birth control Yasmin is used as a hormonal, oral contraceptive. It has to be prescribed by a doctor to be obtained.

Yasmin prevents ovulation which is the release of an egg during menstruation and also causes changes in your cervical and uterine lining, making it harder for sperm to reach the uterus and harder for a fertilized egg to attach to the uterus. Therefore it prevents the sperm from turning into embryos and later a baby.

Yasmin can only be obtained by a prescription from your doctor and than at a pharmacy. It can range from anywhere to 100-200 dollars.

Its effectiveness rate according to a survey from women who had taken it over the course of a year found it to be 95% effective of not becoming pregnant.

Women who are smokers, especially over the age of 35 are at a high risk for blood clot, stroke or even heart attack caused sometimes by the birth control. Women who have kidney, liver or heart problems should not take it. Women who don't want to become pregnant would use this method and who want oral contraceptives

1. Done between 11 and 12 weeks of pregnancy
2. Done at a hospital.
3. Used to check for genetic disorders such as Down syndrome
-Glucose Screening and Tolerance Test
1. Generally used anywhere between 24 and 28 weeks of pregnancy.
2. Done at a doctor's office.
3. Checks for gestational diabetes in pregnant women.
-Group B Strep Test
1. Screened sometime between 35 and 37 weeks of pregnancy.
2. Taken at a hospital.
3. Tests for group B strep in babies, which is normally harmless in adults but can cause a rare infection in newborns.
-Amniocentesis
1. Performed sometime between 16 and 20 weeks of pregnancy
2. Done at a hospital.
